I'm working on the idea of publishing a book. I have so much material I can fill several books with my work and still have leftovers. I'll have more news about this in the coming weeks and throughout the year.
Last month I made a post about the 100th anniversary of St. Columba house in Pointe-St-Charles. Prior to that, I was contacted by someone from the United Church Observer in regards to the photo I took of the St. Columba house (they saw it at my Vanishing Montreal Flickr account). They wanted to use it for an article. Thanks to Caley and everyone at the UCO for this great collaboration. The full article is in the May print edition. Below is a screenshot of the article.

Je prends un congé. Je serai de retour la semaine prochaine, avec un 'Article de la semaine', et je retournerai à temps plein après cela. Cette année a été assez extraordinaire, pour de nombreuses raisons, pour le blog, mon portfolio et les changements généraux qui se déroulent dans la ville, qui ne semblent jamais se terminer.
Je travaille sur l'idée de publier un livre. J'ai tellement de choses que je peux remplir plusieurs livres avec mes photos et mes observations. J'aurai plus de nouvelles à ce sujet dans les prochaines semaines et tout au long de l'année.
Le mois dernier, j'ai fait un article sur le 100e anniversaire de la maison St-Columba à Pointe-St-Charles. Avant cela, j'ai été contacté par quelqu'un du United Church Observer en ce qui concerne la photo que j'ai prise de la maison St-Columba (ils l'ont vu sur mon compte Flickr de Vanishing Montreal). Ils voulaient l'utiliser pour un article. Merci à Caley et à tous les membres de l'UCO pour cette excellente collaboration. L'article complet se trouve dans l'édition imprimée du mois de mai. ReplyDeleteI really like the St. Columba post. I read it, googled some things in it, ended up spending an evening reading about things related to it. It always fascinates me when these little historical buildings and organizations pop into view (like the Black Rock walk that's coming up). How they survive in this age is beyond my understanding but I love learning about them.
